HR Manager

Salary: £45,000 – £52,000 per annum, depending on experience
Additional Benefits: 10% pension contribution to a personal pension plan
Hours: 35 hours per week
Location: Based in Nottinghamshire with flexibility for travel within the region

We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Manager to lead and deliver a comprehensive human resources service. This role involves supporting senior leadership, employees, and other stakeholders in achieving strategic objectives while ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance to senior leadership, employees, and stakeholders.
  • Lead workforce planning and support the delivery of organisational objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Oversee and manage HR processes, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and policy development.
  • Support organisational change initiatives and contribute to strategic planning.
  • Equip and enable team members and leaders with tools and resources to promote a compliant and effective workplace.
  • Lead training sessions, workshops, and events to enhance HR awareness and skills across the organisation.

About You:

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar leadership role.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong strategic thinking and workforce planning skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and advisory skills.
  • Ability to manage HR processes and initiatives in a complex and dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility to travel within the region and attend occasional evening or weekend meetings/events (with time off in lieu provided).
